On one hand, I'm impressed with the level of technical skill it probably took to make this and I'm curious to see if the ease of importing to engines encourages anyone new to get into game making. On the other, I can't help but feel like this is just going to end up with us all sinking deeper into needle hell.

It will be neat to see either way I guess!

Just FYI, the latest physics update has recreated that old platform-as-solid bug for me. I'm not sure if I just updated my game in the wrong way or not but you might want to check. Also, I'm finding it difficult to duplicate, but at certain vertical speeds (at least it seems to be the factor) it becomes possible to push the player into the left side of a block. I have yet to find an instance of it happening on the right side.

This is a very slight example of it that I could get to happen repeatedly: httpss://i.gyazo.com/2dbf689a4f3c9803be29c6374535dfb4.mp4 but there are others where I can get completely stuck into it.

I think you made an error in exporting your game, since I can't seem to run it. You want the Compressed Application Zip option I believe.

you need to add at the end of the game launcher a .exe
it's a really simple needle game; already seen gimmicks...
nothing special, but it isn'r really bad.


*DISCLAMER* i don't know shit about game desining... Maybe someone more experienced would say something better for your game

Having to do that means he picked the wrong export option.

You could either export the rooms/objects via GMS and then import them to the next version or just copy the relevant changes in the code to the older world. The first way requires that you delete a bunch of duplicates, while the latter is just time consuming.

If you weren't so meandering in making your points I would probably be more likely to read/respond appropriately to them. I don't have the energy to read things I enjoy these days, let alone your TOS-agreements of posts.

I will definitely apologize to TJ and Klazen next time I talk to them though. My continued harassment of both of them has gone on for far too long.

I can say with absolute certainty that everyone is taking this way too seriously and should just sit back and see who gets picked a few more times before whining. A sample size of one isn't exactly enough to make any conclusions about favoritism or trends or anything. Constantly making demands of people doing something for free is really unseemly.
