You can try making it follow a path and then setting its speed to 0 when the path ends (there's an event for it).

If you wanna go a step up, you can try to make it auto-create a path kinda like NANG triggers, although that might take a bit more knowledge to pull.

I'm pretty sure that anti-decompiler only works with early versions of GM8.1. I tried using it on one of my games and it borked up.

Because the step event comes before the draw event, the screen will have already been on the surface by the time the rectangle is drawn.
