The Lounge / Re: Blind RMJ Maps - Round 6

Updated OP to include the original map, good job on winning Wolsk!

I was pretty unsure about the lenght since none of the previous rounds mentioned anything about lenght iirc, and the only one who mentioned that the previous round (the first one I was in) was getting on the long side was Wolsk so I wrongly assumed that going a bit longer would'nt be too bad. I also had a problem with RMJ not saving recordings correctly if your start point is midair, but yeah I should've made it shorter instead of adding more stuff at the beginning, sorry for that!
I think we should add a limit of maybe 10 seconds (this is 16-17 secs) to prevent this from happening again.

The Lounge / Blind RMJ Maps - Round 6

basically I start with providing an RMJ map with a recording of me doing something. What y'all have to do is either try to remake what I originally had or create the craziest map with what I did. I'll judge what the best map is, and the winner can do their own (I'll also post the original one I had)
Please use the naming convention of "Round [Round Number] - [Username].map" for your map.

This one took me a while to do, mostly due to having to play it on laptop. Sorry for the delay and I hope the recording isn't too long!
The round will probably end in a day or two. Good luck and have fun!

Edit: While there were few entries since this is like 16 seconds long, I liked all of them. It was pretty close between Wolsk and Taprus, but I ended up choosing Wolsk since there's some jumps I really liked.

The last jump probably took more time to build than everything behind it lol.

2nd clear. Had 3 chokes this time which is why it took me so long.

Pretty tricky room, took about 200 deaths to beat. But I've to test it on my brothers computer before I decide to nerf it because this notebook keyboard is incredibly bad, even more now that the left shift doesn't work at all.
That's the 4th screen of the 4th stage out of 6. You can play them in any order as they're all in the hub since the start, but before entering them there's a difficulty rating which should show the intended difficulty curve.

Yes I'm still working in this metroidvania styled game which I started several years ago. I'm currently redesigning this area because as you can see there's a health bar, but since a great part of the game revolved around 1 hit kill objects, for the most part it was really irrelevant. Been doing a lot of redesign work over the Mario area and I hope I can something done soon.

Speedrun progress! Wasn't sure on whether posting this on "Post the fangame you just beat" or here, but it seems more appropiate here imo o/.
How did I forget how fun is speedrunning this game. I actually did 4 full runs on this btw, but it only shows two because my first two runs (which were about 2 months ago) were done using Wsplit iirc, and it doesn't keep track on your finished runs. I'm really happy about how each of my finished runs are at least 2 minutes faster than the previous one, of course that's not going to happen anymore, but it's still great progress, especially since I'm pretty new at this.

Influka does have one more phase after the god phase as seen in this vid : httpss://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UbyAEK6jho
It's not really hard, the main reason noone does it is because quick killing Influka is really easy. As for the topic itself. I had this idea a while ago and did it with a bunch of bosses, but it can be pretty difficult to find a boss where you can do harder strats through the entire boss and not just a few attacks.

Apparently I do have some needle skill in me :O. Playing on a keyboard that isn't from a notebook feels so damn great, I should get a keyboard for me at some point.

Will probably send the Rubik's Cube save to my comp to try the avoidance a bit, but it seems pretty meh tbh.

Reached that segment with over 3700 deaths, now I have around 4500 and I still haven't got past that second jump (did it on RMJ though). The first jump is also really hard and there's a choke jump at the end, this will be fun!

Pretty bad on Six Elements considering I did it sub 20 once, I'm still a bit rusty since I haven't been playing fangames that much.

Very fun game, finally got into playing it for the first time. I went for the secrets because I did'nt want to redo some stages.

Decent score I got on Music 2 today. Was aiming to get sub 10 errors, but after realizing that 2 attacks are RNG (the ones that come after the heart) I'm not sure. Randomized safespots are never up to any good, but I think it's always possible so you "only" have to learn what to do when you can't follow your usual strat. For some reason I found this boss pretty fun, which is weird considering it's Music 2 and I dislike most of the stuff it has.

Play other stuff before going into K3, most people (I'm including myself in this) play the game when it's still way too far from their skill level.
Now the only tip I could give is pointless since you haven't reached the item room, but if anyone is interested:
Exploit the Warpsaves glitch. Which is basically pressing S+your shoot button at the same time, while touching a save that allows you to warp when pressing S. This makes you save on the spot where you would be after "escaping", but still on the room where the save you warped from is. If you do this on Item 1 room, you will save on a spike to the left of the item, but you won't die to it if you hold right as you spawn.
It's a very weird glitch, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the order events are executed in GM.
PS: The glitch is only useful in Item 1 and maaaybe item 3 (haven't tested yet, but seems like you could skip a couple segments). So it's pretty much useless since it only allows partially skipping the easy secrets.

Took around 4 hours and 30 mins. Sub 70 hours Stage 5 reached hype :Kreygasm:
Will probably play until Rukito, then I'll either quit or send my savefile to my brother's computer (I think I know how to avoid the anti saveshare system) since his keyboard isn't as terrible as the notebook keyboard I normally use where I can't even 2 frame/do ledges consistently.
Not really a great time are you kidding me? You did it faster than everyone in the western community i think :Kappa:
Well, my Emperor and Dotkid times are bad, my Colonel time is just average I think. My Piano time is actually good, but after trying to beat Piano again for a few hours I realized that the people who said that Piano is RNG grinding are actually right since I got walled almost everytime I got far. I'm very happy about my INFLUKA time though, so there's that at least :Kappa:

Finally, after over 18 mins on the platform phase on Colonel I'm finally done with this!!!
Dotkid : 1 hour, 10 mins
Piano : +3 hours
Emperor : 4 hours 30 mins
Colonel : 4 hours 15 mins
I'm not 100% sure about my Piano time since it's the only boss where I did random tries to other bosses, but I'd say it took 3 hours and 20 mins since boss rush took me slightly over 12 hours. Not really a great time, could've gotten sub 10 hours if I did'nt suck so bad at Emperor and Dotkid, but whatever. I'm so fucking glad that I beated it anyways :)!
