Depending on how hard the game is... Drink every 10/20/30 deaths. (In any game, but best in IWBTG games)

Everytime you die to a new troll trap, drink. (:Kappa:)

When you press R to reload/restart, you shouldn't have to get a slight freeze/lag while the game reloads.

This is caused mainly by the game creator changing the room to the SAME room just so the active objects get refreshed.

If there's nothing active that needs to be reloaded every time, and if you're reloading the game from the same map you've saved in, you should only re-spawn a player at his save location. Don't use room_goto() when you don't need to. Of course there are exceptions. Use common sense.

Another possible cause of this lag/freeze is restarting music or completely restarting the game (yuutu engine). This is a problem in itself... Restarting music sucks, and shouldn't even exist. There are ways to fix this, but they involve making precise changes to the way the game functions for saving/loading and handling music.

I hope this helps you other game makers in here. Comments would be appreciated.

The bubble boss has been modified greatly, and I'm having lots of fun testing it... So it should be better now.

I'll update the download link with the changes soon.

Ok, I see.

If I were to reduce the ammount of bubbles he spawn when he hits the wall, would that be good?

Or I could accelerate the bubble he spawns when he hits the walls so that they spread faster.

The boss is not meant to have tons of phases or attacks, it's just a kind of mini-survival fight.

A lot of people tell me the bubble boss is too hard or just garbage... But why? Specific feedback is needed here.

Is it because it's too hard? Is it because the bubbles he spawns every time you shoot are too much to handle with the already spawned bubbles when he touches the walls?

I know the boss itself is kind of dumb, but it's meant to be a test/preparation to the player for later parts of the game. The boss itself is kind of easy once you get the (very) predictable movement pattern. And..... I could just say that boss is only a *mid-boss*... If you know what I'm saying. The levels can be extended....A lot.

By the way, thanks go out to Paragus for his helpful comments yesterday.
