Maybe what we can do is have as many players as possible racing, but only display 4 streams at 1 single time. These 4 people would be the current race leaders. When say, someone chokes really badly and loses his spot in the top 4 for say, a minute, the stream would go to the person who goes into the fourth place. Anyways can't wait to see this happen. Gonna be real good.
I'm not so sure that's such a good idea. If we were to have, let's say, 10 streams up at once for a race, that'll probably take a huge toll on our internet/computers. Personally I feel like 2-4 people (king + 1-3 challengers) is the max we'll do.

That's right! The weekly races are back! Starting the 9th of April with I Wanna Bread, we will enroll weekly races up until roughly 2 weeks before FGM2016 (28th of May will be the last one!). Keep in mind that this is separate to GYF, and this means the races won't be restricted to just easy fangames. Rough Schedule will come in the following days and the complete schedule will be finished when the marathon dates are completely set.

After FGM2016, we will have our 2nd official Get Yourself Fangaming (also roughly 2 weeks after FGM2016) to follow up some of the popular and/or easy fangames from the marathon!

Every race will start at 3pm EDT / 9pm CEST on a Saturday.

Also reminder that a discord for GYF and the races does exist, an invite can be found right here, httpss://discord.gg/0h2PipD2EtfXQVZf

Hope to see you there!

Is there a sign-up list for this or will we just see who turns up on the day? I'm planning on taking part as it sounds pretty fun and a nice excuse to practice learning to speedrun some new fangames!
there's no sign up, it's just show up and play.

Hey, this is a side board to the GYF: Dates and Selections board, asking you guys about how do you guys feel about the time starts selected. Do you think that it starts too early for your timezone or too late?

Hey all!
So I've decided on a few games that will be ran during GYF.
First off, before I get into the games, there will not be any multi fangame races for GYF. I know I said that there would be in the original game suggestion topic but, I've decided against it. Downloads for the games and split/timer programs you can find listed below. (sorry for the fishy axfc download pages! LAWatson made a nice little guide to download from axfc on a thread here https://www.iwannacommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=1606.msg11333#msg11333) And yes, this will be hosted on SRL. All races will take place at 3pm EST / 8pm GMT

First Week: Animus on the 23rd of January! Download: https://www1.axfc.net/u/3237283

Second Week: Challenge 100 Trials!! on the 30th of January! Download: https://www1.axfc.net/u/3294668.zip

Third Week: See The Moon on the 6th of February! Download: https://www1.axfc.net/uploader/so/3006692

Split/Timer Programs:

LiveSplit: httpss://t.co/bHWs6ldEyG (LiveSplit's page is down, so you have to download from this alternate page in the meantime.)
WSplit: https://cdn.speedrunslive.com/tools/WSplit_1.5.2.zip (for all the computers that can't handle LiveSplit.)
