This is the 1st non-needle game I made.
It's a hard trigger game with raising difficulty and somewhat inspired by Rukito games.
It consists of 4 stages with 2 screens each (although 4th stage's 2 screens are in 1 scrolling room).

This jump's long been in our community known to be impossible but been cleared quite some times without proof anyways.

Soooo ... here the explanation:
1st off: Props to Kinata for finding out almost all of this.
This jump works with numeric instability of pixels. This means: At a certain point in time you y position is a.5. Usually game maker would round it up to a+1. But since Game maker isn't perfect -no shit- it sometimes rounds it down to a instead. This rounding isn't actually random as in RNG but it depends on 3 known factors:
1. Kids y position
2. Kids y position when restarting/spawning
3. Your processor

Depending on your processor there are more or less of those instabilities occuring.

Now to how you do it:
Y=297.305
Perfect bunny hop -5 frame jump when you hit ground hit jump again on 1st or 2nd frame-
19frame jump while holding right
6 frame pause
hold right
as late as you can 5 frame rejump
be happy :)

This is a very cool and very hard needle game made by Ray.

Information:
When I beat the game the first time I didn't record all of it so I had to  rebeat the whole purple stage and the 1st 3 saves of the blue stage. I beat the purple stage very quickly: 1413 deaths, 6900 deaths the 1st time. For some reason I had extreme problems with redoing the 2nd save of blue probably because it was 5am and I was still awake. So Sandsky https://youtube.com/sandsky0 recorded this save for me and allowed me to use the video for the game. At this point I want to say again: I did beat this save on my own before I started recording the game so in my opinion it is legitimate to use a small video part from someone who gave me permission to make it a complete video.

Heyo, now for the 6th part of this series.
The idea is, as to be expected, the same as always. 1 room and jump each save, but only 13 jumps instead of 15 this time, because I felt like the game was finnished and if I'd make more I'd just create something I didn't want to but there's also an extra at least.

It took me ~14000 deaths to beat and approximately 6-8 hours. There's quite a lot of information in the readme, so it might be worth actually reading it. The game does require bunny as said in the readme, also jump cancel for the extra.

10228 Deaths to beat, although 3000 of them come from the save at 3:44 and 5000 from the one at 5:00.

I also want to give special props to Ultra, who already beat this game a very long time ago without jump cancel.
I also want to thank Ultra, Sandsky and Lemon for giving me tips at some parts.  :4Head:

After I did the 1st (the actually hard) jump you can skip to 1:40 I'm not doing anything interessting in the meanwhile.

I wanna Beat The Spikes 5
As you could guess this the 5th game of the series.
15 rooms, each room contains 1 jump. This time there's 1 extra at the end.
Same deal as usually: I don't have a constant death count, so I'd estimate it as 6000-8000.

NOTE: This is the 1st game on my beaten fangame difficulty list to surpass the 100 mark, so it's REALLY hard.

Programming Questions / Music pauses before loop

So, Para was playing my game and there was a weird bug.
Before the music loops it stays silent for a few minutes, when Hiddow played an earlier version this didn't happen. I'm using the same code as always being
if !sound_isplaying(track01) { sound_loop(track01); }
I doubt it is to the code because if I just play the sound from the game maker file it makes this pause as well.
There is no emptiness at the end of the sound file or something. I also tried changing up the sound file and making a new soundfile in game maker, both didn't help. I also tried exporting the soundfile from gamemaker.

I hope you can help me.

Next game hype!
A "normal" needle game this time. It has 3 filled rooms + 1 room with only 1 save. It is easier than beat the spikes 4.

Same concept as the other games. 15 rooms, 1 jump per room. Again it's quite a lot harder than the other ones. I'd guess my death count to 7k-9k. I'm not sure because I reset my deaths everytime I did a new jumps because I did them independable from each other.

It's basically same deal as with the jump cancel one, just with double diamonds this time :3.


NOTES:
This were a the double diamonds that I could think of and beat, though I left out stuff like squished diaogonals and such.
As you saw I did last jump clearly, but for some reasons I let go off right. I absolutely hate this jump, but I felt it would be neccessary for this video, so I'm not going to do it again.
