After an hour and a half grinding the final boss of Rekt, I make it to the final barrage sequence, only to die. This hurts especially considering how all the bullets are slow-moving and very easy to read, and also that it was another two hours before I got back to that point to finish the game proper. Talk about getting Rekt

You are playing on the first released version in that case. Every other version has the Portal Room which avoids shit like this.

I'm not sure about which version is this one, but the Portal Room here is only unlocked after you clear the game. Or at least, that's what the ReadMe says '-'
