So I just finished my first playthrough on what is now called Medium. I started playing this game on the webclient but for reasons I switched to the standalone version. Since I played on medium on the webclient, I figured medium was still medium... So the renaming kind of backfired for me, since obv. a lot of the game was a bit easy for me. On the other hand I guess my mate wouldve gotten a bit more frustrated had we played on a normal difficulty level right away. =)

I really thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will start a run on hard next week. I guess I'll post a real review after I've seen the secret content. :>

Anyway thank you for all the time and effort you put into making this game. It really shows.

I started playing this game a couple of days ago with a friend. We had no problems whatsoever aside from one blue box not spawning.
We wanted to continue our playthrough yesterday but we cant find hosted games anymore. Anyone else experiencing the same?

I was permabanned from twitch and dont even know why. Contacted support, no answer yet. Anyone noticed any weird behaviour by my account? I havent streamed in ages, so it seems unlikely that I got banned for inapropriate content or something like that. Maybe someone used my account as a bot or smth, idk.

Other people randomly getting banned, by any chance?

Our links for the games go straight to the wiki; there's no way to confirm if a link still works other than by trying it. If a link is broken you can report the game to tell us to remove the link (and people often do!) - then you can do an advanced search with 'Require Download Link' to find games you can download.

I'll look into including review count as a parameter in the advanced search, but that code is getting pretty unwiedly as it is :P
I recall reading something like "delicious fruit is not meant to replace the wiki", so I just wanted to make sure what the general policy for reuploads is supposed to be.. I.E. should users post links to reuploads in the reviews if the download link doesnt work anymore?

In statistics, a general rule of thumb is getting around 15 people to respond to something before you can start "guessing" a community rating. I agree that having a strict minimum for required reviews is not a good thing. However I would like to be able to search the database for games with a minimum of n submitted reviews to get a list that consists of games that a somewhat larger amount of people agree on being good. This cannot do any harm as an option in advanced search, as people can just neglect to use it.

Also I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I didnt want to say that submitting more reviews would make things worse for people into harder games but implementing what I wrote above would.

Usually php and wbb boards support several themes. It's not an awful lot of work to create a darker theme. Then people that prefer darker colours could switch to that. (Please no white text on black bg please though. At least make it a bit grayish)

I kind of like the lean look, though. :D

Just finished Venus, my first proper needleish game in one sitting. Was very enjoyable. Can only recommend, wont be a real challenge for more experienced players though. :)
