Besides the bubble boss, it looks quite good. Gonna have to give it a try  :FrankerZ:

A lot of people tell me the bubble boss is too hard or just garbage... But why? Specific feedback is needed here.

Is it because it's too hard? Is it because the bubbles he spawns every time you shoot are too much to handle with the already spawned bubbles when he touches the walls?

I know the boss itself is kind of dumb, but it's meant to be a test/preparation to the player for later parts of the game. The boss itself is kind of easy once you get the (very) predictable movement pattern. And..... I could just say that boss is only a *mid-boss*... If you know what I'm saying. The levels can be extended....A lot.

By the way, thanks go out to Paragus for his helpful comments yesterday.

Basically that.

Ok, I see.

If I were to reduce the ammount of bubbles he spawn when he hits the wall, would that be good?

Or I could accelerate the bubble he spawns when he hits the walls so that they spread faster.

The boss is not meant to have tons of phases or attacks, it's just a kind of mini-survival fight.

I vote for less when it hits the walls.

The bubble boss has been modified greatly, and I'm having lots of fun testing it... So it should be better now.

I'll update the download link with the changes soon.

**Updated to V1.0.1, on 21/07/2013.

I really liked your game man.  I was ready to tear you a new asshole going into it as I am one of the harsher critics of fangames, but the production was great and the levels were interesting.   I really like how you integrated the morph ball mechanics from Metroid and am looking forward to future updates.

I will finish it! Even if it takes me years to do so. Right now college has taken over my time, but believe me I want to finish my game so very much...

I just played up to the Kerning City part ... it's pretty fun! The morph ball mechanics are some of the coolest I've seen in these fangames. However, I think the Maplestory part is pretty buggy (which is expected, obviously). Is the key supposed to reset when you die, or do you lose it? For some reason, when I died with a key in hand, it would respawn me with no key and wouldn't respawn the key in its place. I'm assuming this is unintended. The only other thing that really bothers me about the game is the fact that 's' is the default respawn and not 'r'. Drives me insane.

Besides that, great game broham :D
