Has anyone ever played that game?
I'm just trying to get into it today and it seems pretty interesting. Anyone got any advice or experiences to share?

Before getting into IWBTG I used to play that game a lot. (the Fortress Mode at least.)
Just be ready for a really steep learning curve. This game will take quite a while to learn and can be very hard to master. In other words, this game will kick your ass and crush your dreams many times.

The game itself though is very deep and extremely addictive. :BloodTrail:

I would concider checking out some tutorials on how to get started.

Yea, I did watch some videos about it and I'm playing it right now while browsing the fan wiki. Man this game is awesome, the only downside is that I am so occupied with all the projects I'm working on right now that I can't afford to take the time and adopt to the ASCII visual style; so I am using a tileset which is pretty lame but it still looks visually pleasing.

In fact looking at this game is the same feeling as looking at source code.

This game's actually really fun. It's confusing as shot though, but the way the level is gradually built is awesome.
