Corrupted .zip/.rar Files Fix
« on: November 21, 2015, 08:30:13 AM »
If you ever got the error that when you downloaded a fangame, it came out corrupted and cannot be played?
Well, the fix is here!

First off, reasons:
Reason 1: The file did not download correctly.
Reason 2: The .exe has a dot in it before (Ex: IWannaDrinkMyPee v.666.exe).

For reason 2, your computer will think the file is a strange kind of file, instead of thinking it's and .exe, it will think it's
an .666.exe, which is not a known file kind for your computer so it will take it as corrupted.

Fixes:
To Reason 1: It's as simple as just trying to download it again
But if that doesn't works!
Then we go to reason 2 fix:
Try another browser, this error mostly happens for Google Chrome users. I tested it on Google Chrome and it
came out corrupted, but I tried it on Firefox and it worked just fine! (Note: You might need to download the browser
for this fix, but it's the only way.)

Also! Don't use those "corrupted file fixers" programs, they won't work for reason 2, and will just say that the file
doesn't exists, etc.

I hope this helps! And have fun fangaming!
