COMPLETE: I Wanna Make an Inversion OST

This is the original soundtrack for I Wanna Make an Inversion. Every track was originally composed by Ewan Dobson, with the songs I'm recreating as midi productions/arrangements with Famitracker.

Since I'm recreating every song, I'm in control of the tracks. This means that I will be creating a dynamic music system for Inversion. For example if you die, the guitar/bass will fade out and only the drums will play, or when an inversion occurs the drums will fade out and only the guitar/bass will play. Also during secrets the midi will cross fade into the original guitar version with the drums remaining. As always the the .ogg files used in GM are different than the MP3s due to looping etc but the MP3s give the actual "song" experience for each track.

Please let me know what you think of the tracks and if there's anything you think would need changing around in a song, added, removed, mixed, etc. Thanks!

I really dig the idea of a dynamic music system. I've seen it work with great success in other fangames, but I've never seen it used to the scale you're proposing.

I checked your tracks out and I liked them: the title theme and warden woods in particular. I'm looking forward to hearing their counterparts.

Soundtracking a fangame is something I wanted to do a long time ago and ended giving up after I'd made only a few rough drafts - it's a lot of work. So props for doing it and persevering. Really interested in your project.

15 tracks done with another just about finished (just need to add the drum track). Almost done with the soundtrack!

I originally said the OST would 16 tracks, however I wrote out all the scenes I'd need in the game and I forgot to add a victory theme for when you beat minibosses, a main hub theme, and one more song that slipped my mind, so the OST will be 19 tracks long when finished.

ALMOST DONE

21 tracks out of 23 done, and yes 23 is the final number of tracks covering everything I need done in this game.

Tracks 4 8 15 16 17 23 have been added since the last update. Feel the evil in track 17 and the power of 15.

Just have to finish up the miniboss victory theme and saving the credits for last.
