How to consistently do a mini jump?
« on: April 21, 2015, 09:33:44 PM »
I have a big problem where I have trouble consistently doing a mini jump with is a required for many sequences. I try to tap the shift key but i still go flying.

Also does everyone use the shift key? Some of these games don't have the option to rebind that key I was wondering if anyone knew a general way to go into the game files and edit that.

It might be a problem with your keyboard.

Some keyboards don't recognize inputs of less than 3 frames. If you can actually do a short hop (just over a minispike), than you may just need to practice until you're consistent at it.
Don't let a spike ruin your day.

As kilgour said, it depends on your type of keyboard, for example a mechanical keyboard makes doing short hops much easier.

Most people in this community  use default controls, but if you like you can use a program called AutoHotkey to rebind your shift key.
