''How To Beat''
« on: March 29, 2015, 08:35:08 AM »
Hey everyone!

A month ago I started a serie of videos on my youtube channel. So let's make some pub  :4Head:

This serie is called ''How to beat''.
The concept is easy : I take a boss from whatever IW game, and try to beat it while using ''different'' strats than the usual one. By ''different'' I mean harder, impressive or just completely dumb.
So far I beat 11 bosses, mainly from Kamilia 2.

There's a good example :

And there's my channel :

Hope you will enjoy  :atkHappy:

I like the concept of it, but most of the stuff you're doing isn't exactly new.  With how many fangame players there are, I'm willing to bet that a good majority of these strats have been used before.  The ones I liked were K2 The Guy, Namine, and the K2 Solgryn glitch.  K3 Crimson should've killed green first and worked with it obscuring your view (if you use a version where it can't kill you).  I'd suggest redoing K2 Influka to show off all the phases because that's something I have never seen done.  Also, as a boss suggestion, K3 The Guy with original avoidance strats.  I've made 3 of them and would love to see others.

Thanks for the feedback Wolsk :3

-I agree some of my strats are not ''that'' new, like big kid or Crimson, but I still think ''a good majority'' is too much. At least with entires videos.
(btw if you have examples of videos, I would really like to see them  :atkHappy: )

-For Crimson, I don't really imagine a good video with BBF's strat. Like It wouldn't looks great to see .

-I don't really know what you mean with Influka. As you can see in the video, the patern is just repeating again after God phase. Probably why you never saw the next part :DapperKapper:

-And yeah, I already tought about it, Guy is coming ''soon'' :ResidentSleeper:

Influka does have one more phase after the god phase as seen in this vid : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UbyAEK6jho
It's not really hard, the main reason noone does it is because quick killing Influka is really easy. As for the topic itself. I had this idea a while ago and did it with a bunch of bosses, but it can be pretty difficult to find a boss where you can do harder strats through the entire boss and not just a few attacks.
