I've registered here last year, though I've never posted, or even introduced myself.

My name's Samui, also known as icekitsune on Twitch and other networks. I've played IWBTG-style games on and off for the past six years, but I haven't seriously played until 2010. Even then, I've still played only once in a while. I beat IWBTG once in 2010 on hard mode, and collected all its secrets. I also played a bit of IWBTFangame, Ultimatum, Tribute, Fangame: The Game, and Boshy (to an extent).

I started streaming last year, and beat IWBTG once again, though on Medium, as I was a bit out of practice. I restarted IWBTFangame and Boshy earlier this year, and have been playing the latter more recently. I don't claim to be any good at these games, though I guess I'm better at the levels than I am at the bosses.

I hope to be a little more active than I was last year. Though I say that in a lot of the communities in which I've lurked. I'm still trying to get better about that.

I hope you enjoy these forums although things seem to be slow around here.

  I do agree that the levels in Boshy are WAY easier than the bosses (Sonic, Megaman, and Solgryn).  There is another fan game called I Wanna Kill The Happil 2 that I recommend based on what you played.  Good Luck!

I am used to boards having their slow moments, so it's no big deal. Right now I'm focusing on Boshy and Fangame. When I finish either one, or get completely stuck, I will definitely check out other fangames. I have quite a few in my folder already.

Fine...  The fangames that I seriously recommend are I Wanna Kill The Guy and The I Wanna Kill The Kamilia games.

Welcome to the forums! Boshy is definitely worth your time, power through those bosses!

It is looking like I am beating one boss a week, though my work schedule might have something to do with that. I don't usually do boss fights on work days, because of how long it takes. Sonic took me 13 hours, Skeleton King took 7-8 hours. The only one that took me the least amount of time was Biollante, but she was easy because she pretty much just sits there taking the abuse. =p

Frustrating fights and platforming segments aside, I find Boshy to be pretty enjoyable. Except for Sonic. I hate hate hate HATE that hedgehog.

I actually found Sonic to be an enjoyable boss, he was just a bit on the hard side.  Megaman on the other hand is a terribly designed boss fight as Megaman sits back and has other enemies attack you most of the time.

On the matter of Boshy, Sonic is the gatekeeper: if you can beat him, much of the rest of the game you can handle. Mega Man is one of my favorites in that game, though difficult because of the set-up. The rockin' music, the various bosses coming at you, that accomplishment at finally beating him.

Also Boshy is the reason I started eating oatmeal. And who said video games can't have positive effects on your life?

Well, I died 2,567 times to get past Sonic. If I can handle that, I can handle anything. I pretty much apply that when I face any challenge in life.

I need to eat more oatmeal. As long as the box doesn't scream at me, it's fine. The only food I won't eat because of IWBTG is Spaghettios. I even swore a vendetta against Chef Boyardee.
