I've been streaming as much as I possibly can, going hours and hours a day. I've a lot of fangames to make up, but I'm probably going to marathon them in the future. I've got layouts, scenes, etc to give my stream life. I entertain, and it's something I want to do for a long time. I'm rarely passionate about anything, and streaming is definitely one of my main focuses.

I'd love to be part of it, but it's ultimately up to you. Glad you're getting it organized.

Art & Graphics / Making Stream layouts

Oi, I'm bored and want to work on my graphical abilities.

Just post in this thread if you'd like to work on getting a nifty stream layout. I'll need the dimensions you stream at, a type of theme or color scheme, any images you'd like to add to it, and where all the boxes should be.  You'll get something similar (or better) than this:

It can be whatever you'd like it to be.  Where you'd want chat, any boxes for donations/follows/subs/etc, facecam box, background, and game window is all up to you. I'll be doing these for Free, but any donations would be appreciated.  Just need to keep working on my graphic skills since I haven't touched Photoshop to do anything important in awhile.

Hope to get some requests.  Thanks for reading. :)

Bumping the thread.  Still could use a bunch more JTool maps before we start evaluating and organizing them!  My desktop has been ded for awhile, so the lack of streams doesn't really help me.  The deadline stays the same (mostly).  Hopefully more Wannabes submit. :o

Is there a limit to how many we can make?

Not at all!  Depending on how many we get, I might take the best of the bunch from each person.  If worst comes to worse and not many submit, a lot of your maps will get in if you submit a lot. :^)

Gameplay & Discussion / JTool Maps Needed! [I wanna be the working title]
« on: December 23, 2015, 11:14:13 PM »
Submissions have closed.  Thanks for those who have sent in maps!

I plan on creating a lovely game based around everyone's awesome super cool JTool maps!  For those who don't know what that is, it's a nifty tool that patrickgh3 made that allows you to create your own IWBTG levels.  Download here  I don't know what it will be called yet, but that's the least of my worries.

It's hard to know where exactly to start, since there's so many different kinds of themes you could create, such as using jump refershers, vines, water, only a few certain types of spike, mirrored, dotkid, infinite jump, and everything in between. The game might be planned out in categories, along with the difficulties in each.  We're going to need easy, medium, difficult, and expert maps.  It'll be a lot of work, but hopefully with your help and Jtool maps, we can create something awesome!

In order to make this somewhat easy on me, I'd love it if you labeled your maps accordingly, such as the type (can be vague), difficulty, and author.  If you'd like, you can have a custom label, or tell me what you'd like your custom label to be and I'll make something for you.  This label will appear whenever a level you created is being played.  Just as a forewarning, not ALL maps will be in the final product, so make them good!  We need as many as we possibly can get.  Tell everyone you know, and tell them to tell everyone they know to make a map.  Can be easy, can be hard, can be memee (maybe not), but be sure to make it interesting and fun to play.  Also, I have to say this before anyone sends it. You MUST playtest your map from start to finish before saving it. I've seen this happen a lot of times (myself included) where you finish your map, it's all spiffy and amazing, only to realize once someone plays it that it's impossible! No one wants an impossible map.  Gross.  So test your games thoroughly so I don't have to constantly reply with easy peasy fixes.  If worse comes to worse, and the map is good, I can just fix it slightly.  Submitting your map gives me consent to make any changes I deem necessary.  I will tell you what I've changed with the map before anything, so don't worry.

SEND YOUR MAPS HERE! -> jtoolmaps@gmail.com

When submitting, PLEASE LIST THE FOLLOWING SOMEWHERE IN THE MESSAGE: Your username, The type of map (optional), the difficulty, and the title of the map (optional).  It would help a bunch if your username was at the very beginning of the Jmap file.  Seeing a bit of a x/10 trend, future submissions' difficulty can be rated out of 10.

Hopefully this will turn out pretty GOOD.  WakaHa

The deadline is January 31st. You can still send them in, but anything submitted before this date is priority.

Probably postponing this to next week.  Sorry.

Hello.  Pretend I was here since 2007.

I stream games and such, but have been playing these lately.  First game I played was IWBTG in early Alpha.
