.ogg files are probably the best for music in fangames, it has a very good compression but still good audio quality. Also the audio bitrate shouldn't go over 128kb/s as you shouldn't notice a difference anyways to higher bitrates, this saves space and probably better loading times and no lag on restarts.

to compare: a 3 minute song in good mp3 quality is about 4-6mb. A 3 minute song in good ogg quality is about 1,5-2,5mb.

I only know one other english speaking IWBT forum (kayin) and pretty sure they wouldnt do it because there is no actual gain for them since they are so much bigger.

I know I saw you playing it :Kappa: but Stage 2 is also harder overall so it fits the difficulty a lot better than stage 1 secret

Quite good game so far, nice production value. However my complain: The way to the first secret warp where you have to backtrack the whole room is way too hard in comparison to the other rooms in stage 1 and it also includes a jump which is ridiculously hard to make if you dont know how to jump cancel or if you just cant do it. It would be reasonable if there would be at least a save at the end of the room where the warp is triggered.

Here is what I mean, the top part is in no relation to the other screens of stage 1 in terms of difficulty and the last jump before the warp is just really mean and unforgiving. Im trying to get to the warp for 3 hours now already (was at the boss before but restarted for the secret)

With Autohotkey you can bind keys to other key, but needs a bit of scripting, not hard tho.
I think there are also other programs which don't require scripting but I don't know any. Hope that is what you wanted to know.


Edit: Here's a tutorial on how to remap keys with autohotkey, needs just one line of code.
