Game slows down after few minutes of playing

Hello guys, my first topic here. I have a little problem with I guess all fangames. I tested my issue on Kamilia 2, I wanna celebrate the 100, I wanna challenge the 100 trials and I wanna be the needle. Every game runs normally at the beggining but it starts to work slower and slower, eventually it will be so slow that jumping and falling down will take 5 seconds.
My PC specs
CPU: intel i5 3470
GPU: AMD MSI R9 270x
Ram: 8GB
OS: Windows 8.1
Anyone can help? :(

I've had a somewhat similar problem happen on this laptop I've been using for the past two weeks or so; it seems that going into the task manager and changing the application's priority seems to work, for me at least, although that may just be the laptop itself, which runs Win 8.

I tried changing it's priority but it didn't fix anything. Any ideas?
