Help, Suggestions & Feedback / Error: Cannot read the Gamefile

When I try to play some specific fangames, like 'conquer the blowgame', this message pops up: "Error: Cannot read Gamefile" 
(I use Windows 7)
Can anyone tell me, how to fix it or atleast what causes it?
While Im already at it: For most of the fangames I play, it says "Sound device not detected, sounds might not play", when I start one.
