The worst fangame you ever played.

I see. The grappling hook is really hard to use, and based of what I've seen of another fangame based on Gaiden (Fangame: Gaiden) that people do use the mechanics better.

For me it was the fact that outside of the first screen (outdoor bionic area), the level design was a complete disaster. The grappling hook mechanic was used poorly, there are other fangames that have it and use it better. It's also the fact that the creator seems to be completely ignorant to all the innovations that have happened in fangames since the original. It has good production value with the music and such, but the gameplay is subpar. The fact that he made the original game I think blinded a lot of people with hype to the fact that the game is below average outside of the engine. I guarantee you that if that game had come out without the fanfair of being made by the creator of the original game that a minimal of fucks would have been given over it.

I have to agree with this, I didn't really like the level design either, For one, on the second save point in hard mode, where the guy is throwing spike balls, oh i don't know but you get the idea. I had to perfectly align the grapple hook to make the gap. The grapple hook needs better control, I like the concept of the charged shot though, But yea, the level design and grapple control both need to be a whole lot better.
