I'd find it very hard to pin-point a specific genre so I'll just do a song I really like (because picking an absolute fave is very hard too) out of a few genres.

Jazz: Charles Mingus - Track A, Solo Dancer
Hip-Hop: Nickelus F & LUM - Bathory Motives
Rock (loose but best way I can describe this): The Mars Volta - In Absentia
Alt-Rock: Jean-Paul Sartre Experience - Mothers
Art-Rock: Xiu Xiu - I Luv The Valey Oh
Post-Rock: Bark Pyschosis - Eyes and Smiles
Ambient: Boards of Canada - Seven Forty Seven (this is a strong contender for my fave song of all time).
Electronic: Blanck Mass - Dead Format
80s Indie Pop: Prefab Sprout - Bonny
Avant-garde: Scott Walker - Clara
Noise (not a genre I'm really a fan of, but): Prurient - Dragonflies to Sew You Up
Metal: Deafheaven - From the Kettle onto the Coil

Lately I have actually been listening to Undertale's soundtrack but I usually listen to a bit of everything rly, my tastes havent changed too much. Heres a few of my favorite songs:

I like me them genres with one song under its belt; human sequencer, esoteric slow/speedcore, AcuticCore, "Only One Christmas Song" ( :Kappa: ).

Then there's them more known genres, like euphoric/progressive trance, IDM, complextro, (progressive) artcore, cyberpunk, goa, hardstyle, maybe splittercore, uplifting house.

Also can't stand most hip-hop/rap and country songs, although I can make a few exceptions for the former (good ol' EarBreaker, wish he submitted to Diverse System more).

My favourite genre of music is Power Metal, and my favourite song is Symphony of the Night by Dragonforce

I'm really into an artist called Johannes Bornlöf. He does epic-styled music that's sometimes mixed with a little d&b. If i could best describe his music in one way, I'd say 'Find My Destiny, Death, Phase 3'. I recommend checking him out sometime.
