Paragus:
The vines are the same.  Press and hold the jump button down and don't take your finger off until you reach the top.   While holding the jump button down, just tap left and right and you should be able to climb right up.

ToonLucas22:
The game keeps crashing on the The Guy boss, most of the time before the moving spikes disappear but sometimes only seconds after the boss starts.
