The Guy or The Kid?

<< < (2/2)

Kyir:
Are you suggesting that there's some sort of continuity spanning every fan game? If so, we have to assume that there is a true time line in which the Kid/Guy never dies at all throughout the platforming, and every death represents one of those branching timetrees that science fiction writers love. That also suggests that Cultured is the last game of said time line, since the Kid/Guy dies as part of the plot, as opposed to the gameplay.

Wolsk:
I move that every time a new fangame comes out, we refer to The Kid as whatever he would be called after beating the previous fangame.  Let's make all 2600 fangames feel like one continuous story.

Hectorpaddy:
This is how I see it:
The Kid is simply his name, the guy is a title he achieved by killing the former guy. And it's pretty usual that you refer to people by their name right?
