So I thought I would release this for people who are new to scripting and coding. I would reccomend that you check out objects and mess around with their scripts and see what can make them do. The protoman boss actually has some comments in there as well if bosses is something you are interested in.
If you don't understand some of the functions and codes, look them up in the GameMaker help manual and proceed from there. Learning by doing is one of the best ways to understand how to code and will help memorising functions. I'm confident this will help someone out there.
