This game runs at independent speed and 50 fps, if this game crashes, you computer is a trash.
Now this game have the serial killer mouse, PLEASE DIE!

Nice readme file, perfect for the future Boshy killer imo.

Went down on the first screen after the "tutorial" and managed to save lock myself into a wall.
Add saveblockers, please.

This is only based of the screenshots given, but I suggest changing the depth of the spikes so that they don't overlap the tiles, in my opinion it doesn't look very good when they do that.

I would really recommend not referring to your unfinished fangame as a "Boshy evolution." Leaving aside the fact that evolution is not necessarily a change for the best, you're giving the impression that the game can't stand on its own merits.

I need to say a thing, this game has been made in the clickteam fusion 2.5 not game maker.

...and?

yeah the physics are really damn weird. now well, trying to put that aside, i gave it a go.

i started by trying to take the upper path. i'm pretty retarded but i couldn't figure out how to bait these two thingies
(click to show/hide)

so i took the "other" path. going forward getting the items all cool, i ended up landing here
(click to show/hide)

that might also be because i am retarded but i literally couldn't find anything to do in that room. tried to press shoot, press up, jump everywhere and stuff.

so well, i started a new file and decided to go for the underground path instead. i reached a boss which i found that the title bar labeled as "boss 2", despite me not seeing anything like a boss 1.
after some attempts in that super weird fight where the boss does randomly does literally nothing/something super easy/instagib i beat it, and found myself back at the "iwbtg" screen.

well okay, that's fine, so what do i do? i start looking for other paths, of course. nothing changed regards upper path, but there's this other path that's familiar from iwbtg.. well damn, it says "boss 1 needed". too bad i only beat boss 2 instead.

so what? i don't even know what to say :<

BONUS
(click to show/hide)
i was expecting a secret by doing this old trick known from iwktg, but i was met by The Great Void instead. nothing interesting happens in the great void :s

That's what happens when you release a game a bit at a time. Speaking from experience, you're probably not going to be satisfied as a game maker if you're just hunting for downloads. Make something you enjoy making and that you can be proud of. Knowing other people enjoy it too is just a bonus.

And really, don't release games incrementally. There's no good reason to.

I agree with Kyir, and I think many people who pursue creative endeavors as a hobby would. For what it's worth, I remember feeling like you do back when I was younger. It just took time for my point of view to come around.

I think that even if you aren't satisfied with your game or you don't feel like it's worth continuing, it doesn't mean you're a bad maker. Just learn from past mistakes and work on a new project to pass the time, and if you feel like it, you can improve on your dumped projects too.

Is there a mechanic in a game you like that you think would be interesting in a fangame? Can you think of any visual style that would look cool? Are there any environments (e.g. jungle, floating islands, outer space) you are in the mood to do level design for? Do you have an idea for a narrative to tell? Just a few ideas off the top of my head. You could also bounce your ideas off us in the community discord at httpss://discord.gg/0Sifpi2HDVSaLYW4

I would try to figure out one or two key things you really enjoy about fangs we, and make a shorter project focusing heavily on those ideas. You clearly got worn out on making a big thing before.
