Title: Problem with YoSnipers Engine :(

I'm having a problem with YoSniper's engine,
sorry if this is an easy fix, I just started GameMaker today, and am looking into somewhat understanding these fangames.

So I load up my fangame, right? Well, whenever I start the game, it spawns me in a location I don't want it to. So how should I make it so it
spawns me in a certain location upon entering? (and yes I tried playerSpawn, that just breaks the game intro for some odd reason)

Don't use Yosniper's engine. Use yuuutu or seph engine.

Lemon engine is also good, but if you are using Seph Engine you have to have Game Maker 8.1 Standard.

Allow me to add on to this as well, Lemon, Nikaple, or Nekoron Engine are also fine.

Anyone talking poorly of YoSniper's engine is just upset that they can't master its mysterious complexity. I have faith in you.

I thought I reported this post as well for being in the wrong section, sorry to bother or break a bit of rules, but could this be moved to game design instead? Whatever the moderators or admin wants to do with this post is up to them.

I suggest Lemon Engine if you are new to GameMaker
I'm using it, and it is great for learning how to use traps.
Yuuutu Engine is great too
