Title: Diagonal Masks issue
Post by: Savior on January 12, 2015, 10:59:48 AM
So i've recently started making a fangame, and i wanted it to be a bit more interesting the the usual jump up/fall down the 32x32 sprites so i went ahead and went SUPER CREATIVE and made slopes! (sarcasm may occur) but after making a mask for the slopes and what not they still dont work properly  :BibleThump:

What ive noticed is that i can only fall horizontally into the slopes, like if i fall with an angle i actually hit/get stuck on the slope.

Some more screens:

Hope someone can help :wixSanic:

Slopes are pretty complicated, there's a reason they aren't so used. all I can recommend is to look at I wanna be the engine Fork edition and try and work it out from there. because its really not so easy as using just different sized blocks....and explaining it past this point is just too much for me.
