I prefer GM:Studio to GM8, so I started crafting up my own engine with a mix of quite a few other engines. I was watching someone (Plynqlol?) 'speed run' dishwasher so I decided to craft up a troll game real quick to test my engine out. Also, I've been informed not to put troll games on the wiki. Honestly I didn't know, sorry.

I am told the physics didn't feel right so I've matched them to Lemon's and it feels right to me, but I'd like some input as to what feels wrong, if it still does. Speed? Jump heights? Fall speeds? What?

I'm toying with the idea that GM:Studio and GM8 Roomspeeds aren't identical, and trying to figure out what's going on.

I didn't try your game but here are the specs of the usual engine.

Room speed should be set to 50.
Gravity should be 0.4.
The first jump should should be -8.5 vspeed.
The double jump should be -7 vspeed.
Running speed should be 3.
Maximum falling speed should be 9.
When you release shift and your vspeed is smaller than 0, the vspeed should be multiplied by 0.45 for variable jumping.

Good luck with your engine.
