Just follow the white line for most of the screen. To pass the cherries where my character is, you need a certain align, which is the red wall (if you don't know what an align is, just touch that wall, save and don't touch another wall after that). Then you just have to stand on a certain pixel and swim up.

This is just about timing your double jump; iirc you have to do a full double jump when the player is a little less than 1.5 blocks high. In other words, don't bonk on the ceiling but get as close to it without touching as you can.

The problem is getting to the vine in the first place, since you can't single jump over the first spike and treat it like an M-jump

It's basically a diamond with a roof instead of the two top spikes, to which the solution is what Inferno said - get as close to the ceiling with the double jump as possible without hitting it.
