I Wanna Kill the Happil 2 Ver. 0.3.4
« on: May 17, 2014, 12:30:32 PM »
First, sorry for my poor English skills.

This game, I Wanna Kill the Happil 2, is a medley game, so it contains many fangames.

Each maps are much harder than original maps of fangames,

so maybe you don't have to worry about spoiler(..)

There are 3 stages and 3 bosses in this version, and boss 3 is not complete.

And I will make 7 stages, stage 7 is original stage of IWKTH 2.

It has achievements system (for example, "100 deaths : Hunt Red!").

There are 27 achievements you can get!

And it has items system, too.

To get items, you should clear a secret stage of each stage.

If you collect all items, (Spoiler)

This game is POSSIBLE!!!

...maybe....

Is this fangame possible?
I'm being serious right now.It has litteraly rooms with impossible segments from what I've seen in videos about it.

The game as it was way earlier was not possible.

Now a days it is being modified by starz0r so that its possible for everyone to play, will anyone beat it, even in its possible state is the question.

I do look forward to this game though, and Just, welcome to the forum.

Edit: as a simple question, is there anyway you can add in a Windows 8 Compatibility Mode? one you can turn on and off like Permanence 2?

I was worried about being blamed because of its insanity...

Well, I don't use Windows 8, so I don't know why my game is not compatible with Windows 8, sorry;;
Anyway, I'll do my best for adding in a Windows 8 Compatibility Mode. (is this grammar right?)
And I haven't played Permanence 2 yet, so I don't know what you mean;

Permanence 2 has a feature where you can turn Windows 8 Compatibility on and off with the push of the W key, i dont know if your game is compatible with windows 8, with all the sound effects and stuff it might not be, just a wild guess though. Kamilia 2 had sound effects that instantly crashed the game on the final boss second phase on windows 8.

let me be honest though, i kinda liked the insanity, and the grammar was very accurate.

Good job with the game you and starz0r

I think Happil 2 has the elements of a really good game, and I like the insanity too, but it's gotta be humanly possible or else we can't appreciate it. No one would know what cool ideas are inside if we all get stuck at the beginning.

I'm curious what difficulty Star has made this. I'm assuming he nerfed it significantly and fixed the impossible parts, but what was his goal difficulty? Level 90? 95? 98? I can accept the game being harder than Kamilia 3, but not by too much because that would be pushing it.

So i got around to playing the demo more, i got some thoughts of my own.

I think its best to leave the Dark Blue screen as it was, It's honestly not that hard. GGM was a bit over the top since it sends you all over the place, but it was, not that bad. Justice seemed fair without the back tracking and with one save, maybe if you want back tracking in it then add a save at the end?

https://prntscr.com/44b7gz - I think its best to leave this jump in here, nerf the TAS drop sure, but this jump is at the very beginning and its not even hard, no offence star, I did not really like this jump being nerfed.

It might be best to also use the conquer the blow game 1 screen from the original, the major difficulty of it was the Super F. I don't know if this game is still being worked on, but just some suggestions I had in mind.

This is everything I have done, I've been save hacking around the game to see what screens i could do. I hope these suggestions come in handy Just and Star.

How do you save hack this game?
I can atest that it will be harder to savehack the game at version 0.4 since it uses an algorithm I wrote. Unless you have the previous 0.3 version contact someone on Skype, savehacking this game is easier than many people think.
